What Are Cookies

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help the site remember your preferences, keep you signed in, and understand how you interact with the platform. Toromarket uses a minimal set of cookies and local storage values to keep the platform functional and reliable.

Cookies We Use

Essential Cookies

These cookies are required for Toromarket to function. They cannot be disabled. Our authentication system (NextAuth) sets a session cookie called next-auth.session-token when you log in. This cookie identifies your session and keeps you authenticated as you navigate the platform. Without it, you would need to log in on every page load.

Preference Cookies

Toromarket stores your theme preference (light or dark mode) in your browser's localStorage under the key arena_theme. This is not a cookie in the traditional sense but serves a similar purpose — it remembers your display preference across visits so the interface loads in your chosen mode.

Analytics

We use Sentry for error tracking and performance monitoring. Sentry collects error reports and diagnostic data when something goes wrong on the platform. This helps us identify and fix bugs quickly. Sentry does not track your browsing behavior, build advertising profiles, or collect personal information beyond what is needed to diagnose errors.

Payment

When you interact with billing or checkout flows (for Pro at $29/mo or Enterprise at $99/mo), Stripe may set cookies to process your payment securely and prevent fraud. These cookies are only active during checkout and billing sessions. They are not used for advertising or tracking outside of the payment flow.

Advertising / Third-party

We use Google AdSense to display advertisements on our website. Google and its partners use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. AdSense cookies are only set when you grant consent via our cookie banner — by default, ad storage is denied under Google Consent Mode v2. You can opt out of personalised advertising at any time by visiting Google Ads Settings.

Third-Party Services

Toromarket integrates with the following third-party services that may set cookies or collect data:

  • Sentry — Error monitoring and performance tracking. Collects diagnostic data when errors occur.
  • Stripe — Payment processing for subscription billing. Active only during checkout flows.
  • Google AdSense — Advertising / Third-party. Serves ads on the website. Consent-gated via our cookie banner.

Managing Cookies

You can clear cookies at any time through your browser settings. Be aware that clearing your session cookies will log you out of Toromarket and you will need to sign in again.

To reset your theme preference, clear your browser's localStorage. In most browsers, you can do this from the developer tools (Application tab) or by clearing all site data in your browser's privacy settings.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this cookie policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal and regulatory reasons. When we make changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
